Agrement ministeriel pour le centre de formation
Après 2 ans d’existence, le centre de formation du Toulouse Olympique XIII a obtenu, à compter du 1er août 2008, l’agrément du Ministère de la santé, de la jeunesse, des sports et de la vie associative pour une période de 4 ans.
Le TO est fier d’être le premier club de rugby à XIII à obtenir cette reconnaissance et à se doter ainsi d’un formidable outil de formation et de développement sportif, qui fait partie des étapes de structuration du Club en vue d’intégrer la Super League. D’ores et déjà, le centre de formation a permis à 6 stagiaires de faire partie de l’effectif de l’équipe une.
Ce projet a vu le jour grâce à un groupe de bénévoles passionnés, au concours de la Direction Technique Nationale et des représentants locaux du Ministère de la Jeunesse, des Sports et de la Vie Associative.
Mais il ne s’agit pas de se reposer sur ses lauriers… Nous devons continuer à travailler ensemble pour faire de cette structure pionnière dans le Rugby à XIII français une structure d’excellence.
Les stagiaires accueillis doivent relever le double défi : devenir des joueurs professionnels de haut niveau tout en préparant leur reconversion professionnelle future.
En attendant le centre de formation rouvre ses portes le 25 août et nous souhaitons aux 16 stagiaires de la nouvelle promotion d’aller “plus vite, plus haut, plus fort”.
